This
was from my first few days in Nijkerk....... top left pic is of Danny and
his brothers gf..(you following me?) Ella. Very nice woman.
Anyways......we were eating dinner at a cafe....and I saw some balloons
in the air. Got up to take a few pix, then turned around and got
them as well....Danny knew....but Ella didn't! **grin** The
top right pic is of Danny and his best friend Jos. I only got to
see Jos the one time....we went out to see a movie (The Matrix, which BTW:
is EXCELLENT) I couldnt believe it though...they put an intermission
in it! That was so strange. They even have a bar in the
theater! Very very different....and talk about comfortable seats!
Well....enough of that....I took this pic of them after the movie in the
parking lot.
The
bottom left pic is of me and Danny....I only have two friends I got my
pic taken with....and a few friends I didnt even get a pic of them.....just
never thought of it. That was at the movies as well.
The bottom right pic I didnt take...I found it online......but it was of
someplace very familiar to me. The white building is the train station.....and
on the left hand side, if you look closely....you can see a green phone
booth...and a bench. Well....when I came back to Nijkerk to see Danny
a few times.....I would call from that phone booth and wait on that bench.
